Express Entry Draw - August 24, 2016

August 24, 2016

Under Express Entry, eligible candidates are accepted into a pool of possible candidates for immigration to Canada.  Candidates are ranked using a point-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).   Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) holds regular draws from the Express Entry pool and invites the highest-ranking candidates to apply to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents.

For the draw that took place between August 24 and 25, 2016, IRCC released the following figures:

Number of Invitations to Apply issued:  750

Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points:  538

This represents the highest minimum CRS points required since May 2015.
